The antenna is designed for military point-to-point radio links in band 3+. Because of the remarkable sidelobe attenuation the risk of disturbance influences is reduced to a minimum. The backfire system is todays most effective radiator system. The antenna is compatible to older Band 3 designs. Older Band 3 radiators can be exchanged with Band 3+ radiators. The new design covers the full Band 3 and Band 3+ frequency range.

To ease transport and storage, the antenna can be disassembled. The branch deflector can be folded, so that it lays directly at the edge of the reflector. The radiator can be turned in polarization without the need of any tool.

According to the requirements of the users different mast mountings can be provided. All parts are protected built in and waterproof finished.
